About Us!
Suzi and I meet about 5 years ago. Though we do have 2 different ways of telling how we meet and the first few months of our relationship, we both can agree that we grew in friendship/dating over the first few years realizing that we had many things in common. Mainly the joy of living, having a positive out look on life and finding out how much we really cared for each other. After a few years of dating, we decided to take a big step in moving in together.
Now we know that 20 years ago this was not the norm, but we both felt that times have changed in the world and that to really get to know another is to be around them all the time. We have learned more about each other and see that ones weakness are balanced by the others strengths. The biggest eye opener is she likes the heat full blast in the house and I like it cool. LOL!
We have both supported each other though good times and bad times. For those that don’t know, Suzi had a pretty good scare in the possable loss of vision and had to under go a series of eye surgeries. I told her that 20/20 vision or blind as a bat, I wasn’t going anywhere. She was there for me through getting layed off from my marketing carrer and my sometimes overwhelming training schedule in rookie school in becoming a police officer. Money was tight, but we got through it. She has been exposed/accepted by my family and is still with me… Believe it or not… and I to her's so that has to tell one something!
By seeing our love grow to another level we became engaged during a trip to Orlando, FL. We have had a previous wedding date, but due to finances at the time and schooling we had to push the date back a year, but now its 4 months away and we are both excited!!!
One of our first trips together was to Bike Week in Myrtle Beach. We had a blast! Suzi has stated that she has always wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle and return to bike week on her own set of wheels. Well she has now done that and... well to be honest... its hard to get her off her motorcycle now! We both love riding motorcycles and have found it a great escape we can do together from the stresses and woes of the world. This is why... A Beach Biker Wedding!
We are looking forward to our wedding and spending it with our family and friends! We look forward to seeing everyone May 19 when we say, “I do”.
